R. B. Ratcliff & Associates is proud to be the builder and remodeler of choice for some of the most exquisite, award-winning homes and ranches in the River Oaks, Memorial, and surrounding Texas areas. Our unparalleled expertise in high-end residential construction is evident in the challenging design homes that our architects bring to life. But our capabilities extend beyond residential projects; we also excel in commercial endeavors, offering our expertise in office buildouts, churches, and restaurants. Our inhouse Mill Shop extends our capabilities beyond other contractors and has a lasting reputation for high end quality millwork. Our dedicated team of 31 professionals, including field superintendents, carpenters, and millwork craftsmen, possess the skill and knowledge to tackle any home repair or construction project. The founders, Randal Ratcliff and James Stefano, began their careers as supervisors for a construction firm that set the standard in better neighborhoods for over 40 years, before establishing their own business in 1986.  Randal and James had established the reputation of completing their jobs, often one-of-a-kind projects, on time and on budget, to the complete satisfaction of their clients. 

Randal and James are no longer with us but the legacy has carried over with the family.  Our current leadership, without missing a step, during this transition, has continued to provide the same level of quality and service that we are known for.  We continue to follow  the beliefs of Randal and James, while  remaining a family business.  We offer commitment to our clients for quality service, customer care in building a superior home.

In 1986, R.B. Ratcliff & Associates, concerned over the lack of quality millwork and production time, established their own mill company.  With a 20,000 square foot facility and state of the art equipment, the company produces custom quality products.  Since the early years, our mill shop has produced and provided some of the finest millwork of highest quality.  Our mill work can be found in some of the finest homes in Houston as well as historical sites in the city.

Brad Ratcliff

President


As a young man in high school, Brad worked in the mill shop, cleaning and later performing all other jobs in the mill.  He became a superintendent, building many of our finest  homes.   He learned all aspects of the company from his father.  He is now the President, running  the company.  Randal groomed Brad to take over the company following his same values.  Brad oversees the daily operation of the company.

Susan Ratcliff

CEO


Upon the death of her husband, Susan joined the team working with Brad. They are working together to manage and expand the company. Susan has strong communication skills and a passion for the organization and its people.  Susan and Brad work jointly to run a successful company.

Waylon Boles

Chief Financial Officer


Waylon Boles joined R. B. Ratcliff & Associates in 2001.  He oversees the Company’s financial activities and manages all corporate functions including, risk management, human resources, technology, and safety.  Prior to joining our company, Waylon had a 20 year career in the management and construction of Commercial Real Estate as a partner with PMRG.

Sam Ratcliff

Estimator


Growing up in and around the business from a young age, Sam would spend his school breaks working in the Mill shop.  Starting with cleaning to carpentry, learning the process from start to finish.  Sam is responsible for putting together RBR’s comprehensive budgets.  Sam’s current role is estimator and works closely with our subcontractors and architects.

Cameron Simmons

Mill Superintendent


Cameron has worked in the construction industry for 25 years, starting as a laborer when he was 15 years old.  He has been a carpenter and business owner.


7 years ago, Cameron joined the RB Ratcliff team as a superintendent, overseeing home construction.  Cameron has been promoted to successfully managing the mill shop.

Renee Wilson

Office Administrator


Renee has been with the company for 22 years.  She started as the Executive Assistant to the Owners’ and has expanded into multiple other job duties over the years.  She is currently serving as the office administrator handling the administrative and accounting duties.

Stephanie Gonzalez

CAD Designer


Stephanie has been with RB Ratcliff since 2001.  She is the CAD designer working closely with field personnel and the architecture community.
